Paulo Scott’s an extended tour of the UK and US has just finished. He launched one of the most compelling, complex and gripping novels to come out of Brazil in a long time: the Machado de Assis Prize-winning Nowhere People. Paulo Scott will be in conversation with another of Brazil’s most respected authors, João Gilberto Noll, about Brazilian contemporary literature, short stories, and social/cultural issues, including readings in both Portuguese and English.
