Secondary school teacher and winner of the Northern Book Prize Sammy Wright brings us Fit, the unrelenting tale of a young protagonist trying to forge a path from foster care to a more glamorous adulthood. Mona Arshi’s Somebody Loves You depicts a young girl who refuses to speak in the midst of her mother’s mental illness, exploring the choice to own or reject the stories that shape her.
