About the event
Two singular voices in Scottish poetry, Colin Bramwell and Ryan Van Winkle, join the Festival to share new work and discuss their practice of bringing poetry to wider audiences, both on and off the page. Both poets play with questions of communication and connection: Bramwell’s Fetch explores the boundaries of Scots and English to question a host of binaries, while Van Winkle’s intimate Get Closer considers how we remember and misremember, shaping memory through experience. Chaired by Ellen Renton.
