About the event
Arno Geiger is a bestselling author based in Vienna, Austria. He was the inaugural winner of the German Book Prize in 2005, and his work has won many awards since. His memoir The Old King in His Exile, about re-learning to communicate with his father after he develops Alzheimer’s, has touch over a million people worldwide and been translated into 30 languages. We’re honoured to be publishing it in English.
Geiger is this year’s Ingeborg Bachmann Centre for Austrian Literature Writer-In-Residence, and will be doing two intimate events in London and Lancaster. Please join us for two fascinating conversations!
