Katy Derbyshire is a London-based translator who has lived in Berlin since 1996. She translates contemporary German writing. Recent work includes books by Inka Parei, Christa Wolf and Olga Grjasnowa. Katy has taught translation in Leipzig, London, Berlin, New York, New Delhi and Norwich, and helped set up the Warwick Prize for Women in Translation.
