Yesterday, to tie in with the publication of Sworn Virgin, we asked twitter for your favourite #genderswapbooks – which could be loosely defined to include books which deal with trans issues or question gender itself. We had a GREAT response, as you can see above, and this from @MattOdwyer_ was particularly encouraging: “serious dearth of any trans* material in pop culture though. trying to source them is a definite helpful use of twitter.”

If nothing else, we hope this reading list acts as a decent trans/gender issues literature primer – it’s certainly added to our ‘want-to-read’ pile!
