One of Portugal’s greatest short story writers, she is the author of Jacobo e Outras Histórias (Jacob and Other Stories), A Paz Doméstica (Domestic Bliss), and Gente Melancolicamente Louca (Melancholically Mad People), among others, and a three-time winner of Portugal’s prestigious Camilo Castelo Branco Story Prize.
