Biography

Karina Sosa Castañeda (Oaxaca, 1987) is an editor and the founder of the Zopilote Rey project. Some of her work has been published in Después del derrumbe: Narrativa joven de Oaxaca (2009) and Cartografía de la literatura oaxaqueña actual II (2012) with Editorial Almadía. She has also published work in magazines like Comején, Des/linde, ERRR Magazine, and Mula Blanca. She was a librarian at the Graphic Arts Institute of Oaxaca, in their poetry and narrative room, where she wrote Caballo fantasma [Ghost Horse], her first novel.
