Biography

Beth Fowler was born in Inverness in 1980 and lives near Glasgow. She has been a translator from Spanish and Portuguese since 2009. In 2010 she won the inaugural Harvill Secker Young Translators’ Prize and her published translations include Open Door (2011) and Paradises (2013), both by Iosi Havilio, Ten Women (2014) by Marcela Serrano, and We All Loved Cowboys (due to be published in 2018).
