Dear booksellers,

We are a social enterprise, and choose fiction for its originality and appeal after listening carefully to our circles of readers, writers and translators, many of whom are eminent figures in their field. We chose to publish only a carefully selected handful of titles each year for which we are happy to put our collective hand in the fire and say: this one you have to read!

Once you have seen and read a few of our books, we are sure you’ll agree that our books are pure quality, in every way. The well-made paperbacks printed on Munken paper have durable card covers. We aim to create a valuable and long lasting series which people will covet, collect and re-read.

You will find our current catalogue on the right. We hope you’ll agree that this is a list of books to die for.

Stefan Tobler, Publisher

Ongoing – Deborah Levy

Deborah Levy is available for events and signings in connection with Swimming Home, Black Vodka and An Amorous Discourse in the Suburbs of Hell. She lives in London and is an incredibly engaging speaker and has a wonderful reading voice. She talks with humour and candour about both the joys and challenges of writing and the breadth of experience that brought her to write her Man Booker shortlisted novel, Swimming Home. Her warmth and intellectual breadth, and her commitment to fiction in the context of a wider engagement with the world always leads to a sparkling, inspiring conversation.

Ongoing – Niyati Keni

Niyati Keni published her debut novel Esperanza Street with And Other Stories in 2015 and is a confident and fascinating speaker with a considered and entertaining perspective on writing, including anecdotes about her strategies for beating writer’s block and researching her novel. She is also a doctor who works in palliative care.

Ongoing – Joanna Walsh

Joanna Walsh publishes her story cycle Vertigo with And Other Stories in March 2016. She is an eloquent and entertaining speaker, and has been an important voice in the recent debate about women in publishing, as founder of the #ReadWomen campaign. She has also worked as an illustrator.
