The three acclaimed books in our spring 2011 German reading group are three very different but delightful explorations of cities – one by an irresistible elderly walker who won’t become a passive resident of his old people’s home, one by a man intent on recalling the life and love he has lost – and how he recalls it! – and one by Grell, lost in Berlin.
