Anakana Schofield runner-up in Republic of Consciousness Prize; shortlisted for Goldsmiths Prize

We’re very excited about the fact that Anakana Schofield’s novel Martin John has been shortlisted for the fantastic Goldsmiths Prize ‘for fiction that breaks the mould’. The prize is in its four year, and the previous winners are Eimear McBride, Ali Smith and Kevin Barry. Other nominees this year include Deborah Levy, with her novel Hot Milk.

But there’s more good news! Martin John was also announced as the runner-up in the Republic of Consciousness Prize for Small Presses! Congratulations to Anakana Schofield and to the winners Fitzcarraldo Editions and their author John Keene, all the other small presses who made the shortlist!
