Our tumblr hosted blog Ampersand has had a revamp of late, bringing you features, interviews, events round-ups, and more photo collages than you can shake a stick at. Part of our aim has been to give you all a better idea of who we are and what we’re about – ‘we’ being our fantastic authors, translators, editors and co. But we’re also really hoping to make it into a truly collaborative space, where readers, bloggers, booksellers etc – as well as writers and translators who aren’t affiliated with us – can air their views and participate in discussions centred around the thing that draws us all together as a community: great contemporary fiction.
Here’s a few of our greatest hits so far:
Niyati Keni, author of our forthcoming Esperanza Street, on stimulating creativity and surviving writer’s block: http://andotherstoriespublishing.tumblr.com/post/87093111619/surviving-the-creative-desert#.U5g81FhdWIg
Sworn Virgin author Elvira Dones’ ‘Seven Wonders’ – hobbies, habits, and, er, Lupe Fiasco: http://andotherstoriespublishing.tumblr.com/post/86391721521/elvira-dones-seven-wonders-music-im-very#.U5g9R1hdWIg

Stay tuned for more of the same – and better! – in the upcoming months. And if you have any ideas or suggestions for what you’d like to see more of on the blog, please drop us a line and let us know!
